I have seen The Hotlicks on several occasions and to be honest, you guys are the best covers band I have seen over the last year or two. You have such a versatile programme that appeals to everyone and along with the humour on stage, particularly Suzi with her banter, I can't see how anyone could go home without commenting that they had a great nights entertainment.

I recently caught up with a friend of mine, another Hotlicks fan who told me she had video footage of you guys on her mobile phone. When I heard it, I told her that she must send it to you guys in case you wanted to put the footage on your website. I have uploaded the songs onto youtube on her behalf as she was a little bit reluctant to do so...I don't know why? You guys produce a great sound on stage albeit the guitarist can be a bit too loud at times or maybe that's how you like it?? I can't play any instruments but have been following LIVE bands for years and I have often heard a guitarist's volume creep up as the night goes on, must be something in their genes ha ha. But seriously, I really hope you can address this minor point as I'd hate to think you will lose gigs by not keeping the sound under control as it's the only criticism I've ever heard personally about the band. Some people will purposely go to a venue to have a chat amongst themselves and if they like what they are hearing, they'll soon move closer to you to hear you in full swing.

I think the drummer is fantastic, full of energy and I love some of the endings he puts in with the drum rolls and the use of the cowbell in such a comical way. The humour that takes place between the Bass player with his cheeky grin and the Keyboard player during the sets is great to watch and hilarious ha ha!!

As for your keyboard player..what a class act!!. I am gobsmacked on how easy he makes everything look and yet the accuracy of what he plays is faultless and his ability to improvise in any sort of style is incredible!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing you throughout 2010. Keep up the good work!!!
